i am aware of that..

but for optimal performance, you will also need the SLi bridge connector (or so they say)...

the picture shows its included but it may be an erroneous post, since even the box shot is of another product (Ultra-D)

Both newegg and ZZF have pictures of their Ultra-D with an SLI connector. ZZF's picture even shows the Ultra-D box with the connector so there cant possibly be any confusion over it being just a picture of the SLI board.

I doubt its really there since the announcement from Nvidia. Then again mine doesnt get here till tomorrow, so I wont know till then. I get to finally replace this horrible A8N-SLI thats been giving me fits.

I saw in another post somewhere that the person who received his Ultra-D didn't have the connector with it, and DFI will not supply them.

The only 3 boards an SLI connector will come with are the Lanparty SLI-DR, the Lanparty UT SLI-D, and the Lanparty UT SLI-DR.

No Ultra board will come with the SLI connector. I have no doubt that there will be many ways to get one in the near future.

Bottom line, in my meaningless opinion, if you're going to spend good money for a nice PSU, a 2nd PCI-E card, and an NF4 mobo in hopes of being able to run SLI in the future, might as well spend the extra $50 and get the SLI version.

Though it's not in stock at the moment, Monarch has the UT SLI-D for $189. A lot less than the SLI-DR has been going for on ZZF and NE.
