Has anybody every heard of/seen this one???

I have a win2k system that gives me the BSOD every time i try to load it. it gives me the following error message:

STOP: x000026c {Unable to Load Device Driver}
????\C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\ks42prt9.sys device driver could not be loaded.
Error status was 0x000012f


I have tried googling the driver file name, doing a search for it on my own pc, and yet nothing! Please help.

By the way, it is a BP6 with 2x500mhz cellys and 768 reg ecc ram

I'm not coming up with that file name in any searches either. However, it looks suspiciously like a printer driver (ks42prt9.sys). Try booting in to Safe Mode and uninstall any printers that you have installed on the computer then see if you can load Windows normally again.

boot to recovery console. Use the listsvc and disable command to disable that driver and set your spooler to manual start.
