Has anybody ever lease something off Dell?

I was wondering, because I might be interested in buying something from them. I'm not sure how it works though. So if I was to buy a 17" LCD Monitor from them, but want to lease and pay that $18 per month, does it mean that I would pay $18 per month until I pay it off? Or lease until I don't want it anymore and have to return it? I'm not sure how it works, can anybody clear this up?

lease implies that they own it and you don't pay it off. you merely send it back to them. problem with leasing computer components is that they're not worth anything after you use them for a couple years, so leasing doesn't make sense because you end up paying the same as financing it.

Well If I buy it with a credit card, I have to pay for it all at once don't I? I'm just wondering because it be nice to have a 17" LCD monitor that I can pay for monthly until I pay it off.

That is the point of a credit card...to make monthly payments until you pay it off. (according to credit card companies anyway)
