If i try to email from outlook, to my other email, i get this message:

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: test email
Sent: 12/27/2004 12:32 PM

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

'********@****.com' on 12/27/2004 12:32 PM
550 relaying mail to **********.com is not allowed

any ideas what this could be?

Got a spam filter running?

if you are running your own email server, the recipient may be blocking.

use your ISP smtp server and see if that helps

This happens often if you are using an SMTP server other than your ISPs.

Are you using your ISP's SMTP server for outgoing mail?

i was doing this for that same client, he keeps doing stuff....well, aparently he had his smtp server and pop server set as the same value...not to mention both were incorrect. Verizon told him to set it to that, but they don't know what the hell they're talking about...oh well, easiest $25, and chili dog i've ever made
