Has amazon slowed down quite a bit on getting their stuff shipped out?

i chose the free saver shipping option or whatever and i'm a bit surprised that they still haven't shipped out my stuff... they're not big stuff either, just two items no more than 2 pounds altogether.

in my many past experiences with them, until now, they've always shipped things out pretty quick within a day or so... so just curious if amazon's service has gotten worse or what?
 
I have prime and they ship my stuff out the same day if its ordered before a certain time. Even before I got prime they still shipped out in a timely maner.
 
free super saver shipping option will add 3-5 days on top of whatever the normal ship day would have been had you paid for it. just because...
 
i don't order enough from them to justify the $79... what are some examples of things i can get from them every so often?
 
They gave me a free one month trial of Amazon Prime and this is the best period to use it... I can order House Season 3, Dexter Season 1 and Heroes Season 1 (HD-DVD) with free 2-day shipping 😀. Not to mention only paying $70 for Heroes rather than $100 from a B&M.

Oh and my order yesterday was shipped out yesterday. Got me Bourne Supremacy and The Frighteners in HD.

i've used it plenty of times before and it was always fairly quick. the last 2 things i've ordered have taken a long time to even be shipped.
 
When I first started using amazon the free ship usually got shipped out in 1-2 days. These days, it's as long as two weeks. I even had a book that went out of print and stock while waiting for it to be shipped. It was in stock when I ordered it.

my ordering is so random that i don't know if it would be worth it. usually i don't mind the wait for the super saver, but even with the 3-5 day i get stuff pretty quickly. do they have a warehouse in PA or close by?

I noticed the same thing about a year and a half ago before I signed up for prime. It kinda sucks that they did that but $3 overnight shipping is a nice perk. I order so much from Amazon that is was worth it anyway.
 
The free shipping takes like 4 days to "process" then it ships. Thats why I always opt to pay for the next level of shipping because the wait time is much less. If i don't need the item for a month, then ill ship it free though.

My two movies I ordered were shipped from PA according to the tracking information. Heh, worst off, I ordered next day when from PA (to here)... ground or 2-day = next day.
 
one of my two items is getting "prepared for shipping" so i hope they send out two separate packages to speed this one up 🙁
