I just plugged in my PS1 again for the first time in a long time, and found my old copy of Harvest Moon Back to Nature. It's ridiculous how addicted I am to playing this game, and all the other Harvest Moon games. I own one for the PS1, PS2, gameboy, DS, SNES and have played it on the N64 and Gamecube.

People who haven't played the games have no idea how this game could even be fun, running a farm.

Who else finds these games so addicting?

Once I start playing I can't stop.

I played a few of them on different consoles and some of them got really repetitive, otherwise, yeah it's all farmer fun
 
I spent many hours playing Harvest Moon 64. I remember my father asking why I didn't do more actual yard work or plant a garden if I liked doing it in a video game so much.
 
Way too repetitive and fiddly for me. I say this as a guy who's actually grinding out Disgaea 3's post-game, too.
