I bought a used air hockey table and when I tested it out it seemed fine and the scoreboard was working. I get it home and the air isnt coming out enough to keep it going smoothly. Has anyone dealt with one of these?

I was thinking I could get a bigger fan motor to go on it. The design is pretty basic, a fan mounted to a wooden rectangle box under the table

Did you possibly break a seal in the air box by jostling it getting it home? Put some smoke in the inlet and see if it only comes out the holes in the top.

Good idea, I also think I could add some big pc fans. If I was to do that, how would I wire it in to the power cord?

You're wanting to use fans you already have on hand? If so, then you can use an AC adapter. I have tons of these hanging around from old cell phones and gadgets.

If you're going to buy new fans, then you might consider ones that run on AC instead of DC. They exist.

You're pretty sure the holes aren't clogged? Some tables at the arcades and stuff that I've visited are totally filthy.
