Harlem Globetrotters

At some point in the past year I mentioned to Mrs Ned that it was a bucket list item of mine to see the Harlem Globetrotters... so for Christmas she got me some tickets. I'm stoked - going to see them Wednesday. Has anyone seen them? Anything I need to know or do to make the experience complete?

I saw them way back when I was ~8. What I remember is that you should put all your money on the Washington Generals to win.

Yeah I saw them around when I was eight. It was a good time.

Fun fact: They lost to the Generals once.

For some weird reason the Globetrotters play here in Milwaukee every New Years Eve and have for decades.
We went to see them a few times when the kids were younger - no question it's entertaining. Amazing how that schtick doesn't get old for almost 100 years.

I have seen them ages ago. As in I don't even remember when or where. It was ok I guess.

I saw the Harlem Globetrotters several times as a youth...back in the Meadowlark Lemon, Curly Neal, and Jackie Jackson days. (60's and into the 70's) My grandmother...for some reason known only to her, got me 2 tickets to a game every year. Some years, I'd take a friend, other years, a girlfriend.
Funny thing is...I don't even like basketball in the slightest...but they still made it fun to watch.
