In defense of the other guy, it does look like you started it Nebor, by calling him a smartass. If you can't take the heat, stay outta the kitchen...
Then both of you and BoomAM egged him on. Now that your feelings were hurt you come crying in here....grow up.
 
whatever. I read half of the thread (so stupid arguments and for no reason I had to quit)

To Hardwarrior's aid, Nebor, you did start it by calling him a "smartass". Don't start an argument if you don't want one.

I didnt egg him on, to my knowledge anyway, but i hardly consider "smartass" an insult, at all. More like banter.

This is the first thing ive complained about at AnandTech since i started, so you can`t try that one on me.

You`ve gotta admit though, he is a very confrontational person, and refuses to listen to reason. We`ve both asked him to calm down.

Doesn't matter if you do or Nebor does, but the person who it is said to. FYI if it was said to me I'd definately take offence to it.

well, its not real life. you're on a hardware forum on the internet where everyone has their opinions. Out of all these opinions you must agree that not all are 100% correct, yet the ppl still believe whole heartedly in them. So if you've reached the point in the thread where you know you can't change Hardwarrior's mind about the topic, quit trying (another benefit to an online forum)
 
Another good point there.
But we wern`t trying to change his mind. He took a rediculus amount of insult from Nebors comment, and then persisted to insult both of us and carry on arguing. Several of his comments all but proved he was out to argue. Two wrongs do not make a right in any circumstance.
 
I didn't say "smartass" as an insult. I did it to emphasize my point that NO vga cooler cools memory. This guy just went off, and didn't stop.
