[HardwareHaven] New Review shows FX-8150 beating i7 2600k at gaming

For Games the i5 2500k/i72600k cpu's are much better but remember that they even embarass Intel's best (a $1000 bad boy) so we're dealing with spectacular cpus here. What Intel did with with SB is just awesome.

Now, we can't say that BD is not a good gaming cpu. It compares very well against Phenom's II which are no slouch in the gaming dept. Both sides just have to accept this and stop the fight.

I think BD is a solid foundation for AMD, they just have to iron out that monstrous power consumption and improve it's single thread performance

Why are you comparing a 5.2GHz 2600k vs a 4.76GHz 8150. Duhh, we already know the 2600k has better IPC.
With arrival of BD . Clock for clock is dead. The intel guys have the right to crank them up . As AMD did it just to get closer to SB performance . The fair compare from here on out will be power consumed. If BD is using 200watts than the Intel guys can push their rigs to 200Watts . All is fair in love and war . Is it not ?
