In order to receive a good clean steady/clear picture of video streaming to your computer what are the requirements as far as hardware is concerned and which of the hardware components will contribute the most for the best video performance ?

Specifically is there a minimum required amount of memory that is needed ?

And when the video is being downloaded to the computer where is this downloaded data being stored, in memory, on hard drive or in video card memory ?

Thanks.

When streaming its all about the spead of your internet connection. Most any hardware can handle it so long as you have a fast connection. As the video is being downloaded its stored in a temporary chach. The file its sits in varies based on the browser your using. But you won't be able to assess the video after having watched it.

If you have a good internet connection, the computer hardware requirements are quite light.

What type of streaming?

no bluray streaming yet:p
no ones got 25-40gb in 2 hour pipes
so streaming video is not much more than a slight cpu burden for a modern processor:p
