I keep getting hardware ejection notifications on my cd burner and cdrom. I can normally tell when its going to happen becuase my computer will freeze for a few seconds then the notifications pop up. I first suspected that the burner was going bad, since i could unplug it and only use the cdrom with no problems. However the burner still seems to work fine none the less. I just upgraded from 2k to XP and it will still do the same thing. I have had some other little problems with my motherboard (shuttle AI61) in the past.
Wondering if anyone else has ever had such a problem or has problems with the same motherboard.
