Hardware causing freezing?

Every once in awhile (well, alot) IE will just freeze. I'll have to cntl/alt/dlt to close it. Also, when I play games (Vanguard) the game will freeze for a couple secs. I've reinstalled the OS 4 times (Vista 32/64, XP, and Vista 32 again) clean install, and it still happens. Its got to be a hardware issue...maybe vid card? Mobo? Memory tests OK.

Ideas?

Intel e6600
Patriot 5/5/5/15 memory
Nvidia 8800 GTS 640 vid

Run memtest to see how the RAM is.

As I said in my original post, memory is OK.

Try relaxing the memory timings.

The thing is, I havent done anything differently in the last 12 months...Its OC maybe 10% it just started happening last couple weeks or so. Strange.
