Good job 007. That was completely original. Good luck to you both.

Me: Joined: Feb 2001 Total posts: 6400 roughly...I work from home :)

him: Joined: Feb 2001 Total posts: 12253 WTF?!?!

All I have to say is I wouldn't listen to advice about women from this guy :)

Yet, I'm married and you are still playing Halflife at Lan parties and eating Cheeto's with Root Beer

99% of my posts are from work...

So unless you want to grow up and be as cool as

this guy or him, then I would urge you to step outside where the big light bulb thingy shines during the daytime

I post from work as well and I am married? I work for myself, possibly you do too as 11.32 posts per day if all from work like you said is a little excessive especially considering time to read and not all posts get answered. Being married though is not really indicitive of knowledge of women.

I get outside a lot especially considering I don't start working until 10 or 10:30am, sometimes later....but nothing your replied with made sense anyway.

BTW next time notice the ;) emoticon, regardless anyone with 12k posts in 3 years plus has images like the ones you linked shouldn't be telling others to step away from the computer.

You still never posted up your oh-so-suave proposal.

Post coital bliss in a cheap hotel room :p

After we had laid our souls bare with an entire night of talking and getting to know each other for better or worse. We watched the sun rise together and then and there we both knew that we were each others best friend. This was our 4th straight night of talking the entire night through. I asked her and she said yes.

and you?

That's it? I don't think anyone should criticize proposals b/c it's a very personal thing. If that's what you were happy with, good for you, but I don't think you're in any place to knock someone else's plan.

I already posted what I did, complete with pics, earlier in this thread.

The spiderweb thing?...another variation of making her "work" for the ring ie, putting it in multiple boxes like in Serendipity...how quaint

I think you are missing the only point that matters - she loved it. Fine if you wanted to do it "no frills" and she was happy with that, but criticising people who decide to put some forethought and planning into something they will only do 2-3 times in their lifetime :)D) is pretty silly.

Shrug, its pretty cool, she asked for a PC anyway.....

If it had been any other board there probably wouldnt be this much negative response, ATOT just doesnt like HardOCp because there are some actual intelligent people there.
