We're a strange bunch. This board is made up exclusively of car nuts (Who hate rice, and therefore despise case modding), undersexed teenagers who are jealous that you have a woman, and old farts that wish they'd thought of it.

Now that took some balls. All of you people who are demeaning the guy probably either didn't have the guts to think up something truly original and surprising as a proposal or you aren't married. I don't see why it's so sad, he's presenting his proposal by means that are honest, original, and obviously part of him. I'm sure his wife to be was pleased, and I must say that was some pretty decent craftsmanship under the circumstances from the look of it. Kudos.

Geeky case mod or not, I say he pwned you all. Original proposals always deserve props. I esp. like how he pointed out it was functional. lol

Sorry but a case moded pc to ask a girl to marry you is almost as pathetic as creating a mix cd for a girl on a first date and wrapping it with cat5 cable. Some of you people need to step way back from the fvcking computer and yank the cord while you still have a chance.

God, thats an amazing idea. She'd remember that for the rest of her life with pride, wouldn't she? :disgust:

This guy thinks up something totally original for his fiancee, puts loads of work into it to make it look damn impressive, and catches her completely by surprise. That's got to mean a great deal to her, and we know she liked it because she said yes. She'll certainly have a good tale to tell for a long time ;)

You, on the other hand, think this is sad. You are so cool that if you were to propose to someone, you'd... um... take them to a restaurant.... and... like....'buy them a rock'. Wow. I'm sure women everywhere are just dreaming of the day an imaginative, original guy like you proposes to them.

Everyone knows that cool people who propose do it in some fashion involving Football, cars, or boats and sometimes all togather. Only nerds use computer cases. What nerds. My friends who spend their entire breathing second working on their 69 'stang are so cool. Nerds who work on their computer are not.

I'm with Nightmare on this. BUT I do think this was a different idea and will probaby be memorable for her.

But I think it is kind of sad. Well rather depends on his gf and how she'd take it. My gf would not be impressed by this. I bet some of your gf's would be and others disguted by the idea.

I wouldn't say it is pathetic but it is kind of sad to me.

I'll propose in the normal fashion or what not or whatever I think of later. But you can be sure I will be not be doing it with a case mod!

Original idea yes but I don't like it.
