Matlab is King!!!!!!!!!!!

I remember having to write programs in FORTRAN that are built into Matlab, like a Gaussian Elimination program and curve fitting and such. FORTRAN sucks, and they make all the aerospace engineers take it here.

Mmmmm, Matlab

No, Matlab sucks and FORTRAN owns. You got it backwards.

R

LoL.... I actually like both

still in highschool, hardest was prolly system dynamics and control, cause we didn't really get taught it [only counts for 40% of final grade and all, why bother

MAT 432...Foundations of Mathematics Part 2(part 1 wasn't too easy either mind you :p)...proving why calc works in other systems than the real numbers (Toplologies in general in other words)...usually 2 problems to solve a week(or sometimes 2 weeks) and 90% of the class was unable to finish each assignment(10 people in class...damn one smart guy)...luckly that was the last class for my degree :)
I did try my hand at the Automata CS thing....it was kinda easy for me though...I had already taken group theory and stuff in math classes so made it simpler :D

Stats, ugh. I can do calc, diffs, but not stats. It just looks too easy but comes back to punch me in the face.

Logic. it was mainly hard because it was so boring that it was impossible to pay attention.

i'd say the most routinely feared class at UT for undergrads, however, is organic chemistry. i hear people b!tching about it all the time

Another vote for Organic. Organic 2 lab was even worse.
Bah. Organic is nothing compared to Physical Chemistry. I had to take a year of that for my major and it nearly killed me. :disgust:

Yeah, pchem is worse. But you don't have to take pchem unless you are a chem major. I need orgo for a bio major, even though I hate chem and want nothing to do with it. If you can't handle pchem, what are you doing as a chem major?:p
Um....I'm a microbiologist.

Close enough, all you freaks working with things you can't see without extra equipment. No thanks, I'll be out in the field while you guys are stuck in a lab all day:p
Hmm..."the field" here in Georgia = hot, humid, buggy hell in the summer. I'll take my air-conditioned lab any day, thanks. :p
