Hardest High School Math?

What was the hardest math class you took in high school?
I took Geo, Alg II/Trig, Analysis (Finite Math + Calc), Calc BC
The hardest for me was probably Alg II/Trig for some reason. Geo, Calc, etc. were easy as pi (haha, pun).

You?

EDIT: I mean RELATIVE to the other maths you took in HS, not to college math or whatever.

algebra II/trig

I got a D in that, then a F in trig, then a B in calculus when I got to college. Go figure

Calc I had no trouble with. Trig was a problem.

Of course, when I took college calc I was hating life.

calc BC probably..

but really, is there a hard math class in high school?

The classes I really hate in college was linear algebra and vector calc.

well, vector calc was ok, but i HATED linear algebra

Highest level class I took is calculus, but it wasnt the hardest.

Advanced algebra is the hardest, in fact, the reason that everybody thinks calculus is hard is because their algebra sucks, the calculus part in calculus in my opinion is not really that hard, its when you have to bust out the old algebra for simplifying things and doing tricky things for integration, that makes calculus seem hard.

Okay the point of this thread was "hardest releative to the rest." I smoked all my classes in HS but it was harder to do in Alg II/Trig than the rest.

yep. Calculus = easy. If I had a better algebra foundation, I would have breezed through that.

i think the question was hardest highschool math program (class) not what you thought was easy, highschool over all was easy but thats not was hes asking.

i'm taking ap calc ab this coming up year, but our school offers ap calc bc and the class after that is mv calc or something like that

Algebra II/trig was by far the hardest for me. I think it was because that was about as hard as algebra could be, while the next course after that was calculus AB/BC which was still a prelude to vector calculus.

Hardest? I guess that would be geometry since I never studied and did crappy in that class. Calc BC was cake though. 🙂

Geometry honors was terrible for me. I've pulled A's in every other math class in HS with relative ease. Next up is AP Stats and school starts tomorrow, so we'll see. I HATE PROOFS!
