hmmm...we have Carl's Jr. over here and they have a 6 dollar burger for the same price. wonder if it's the same company....or a massive conspiracy to overthrow Chili's and Applebee's?

Hardee's tastes like A$$.

Everything they make tastes like burnt plastic to me. The worst one yet was their "cheesesteak" sandwich. Don't eat that poo if you know what is good for you.:disgust:

Yep, Hardee's is owned by the parent company of Carl's (CKR is their ticker). Carl's bought them a few years ago as Hardee's was headed for bruptcy. The burger is a 5+ oz pre-cooked by the manufacturer(so you don't end up getting any pink in the middle), all-beef patty made by Pierre Foods. No fillers or extenders, it's not bad, made from quality, all-US trimmings, thouggh a little spongy to me. What it's not is a CAB (certified black angus beef) burger that Friday's was promoting for $6 (I'm in the food biz).

I wish they would open up cj in the seattle area. They are really similar to jack in the crack though. Maybe they own them too.

Give me a break! For that $3.95. I can go to White Castle and really mistreat my body.
Plus, let others know I had eaten at White Castle the next day.

There are just too many bars, one can find a 8 or 10 oz burger for about five bills and fries usually comes with it.

Sorry to spill the beans: Hardee's "Six Dollar Burger" is not a $6.00 burger! It's *called* a Six Dollar Burger, but $3.95 is it's normal price. Truth is, they're charging $4 for a $2.50 burger.

at carlsjr.com you can get a free drink coupon with the six dollar burger.

I believe that the Fridays $6 burger comes with fries. When you add a large Fries
to the Carls Jr burger, it comes out to almost $6.

Well, I've got a combo KFC/A&W in my little farmtown... It's a very good thing, too! Get your 20-piece honey-bbq wings, and a tall root beer float - YUMMY!!

Then on the flipside there's a few of the Carl's Jr./Green Burrito combos out here too... Don't trust their "version" of mexican food, though. Skip the Green Burrito, and hit the "Bell" instead.

Double Western Bacon Cheeseburgers RULE!! Just remember that you are sucking down about 97 grams of pure, unadulterated fat with each one, though. Better performance than any of the "instant weight-gain" compounds sold at GNC!!!:p Only other downside to Carl's is their prices! Damned spendy for fast food!:|

You can get a Famous Star quarter pounder for $.99 at the Carls Jr. near me. This is a much better deal, as two of these and a fries would be cheaper and more filling than a 3.95 burger.
