Hard lockups on a new AMD setup

Well I reinstalled the APC UPS and i'm still having the "unable to communicate with UPS" issue, but so far no lockups. i'm confident that the Marvell LAN driver rollback was the issue.

but now I have the UPS issue to deal with.

I don't think it's the UPS, because I wasn't having this problem in my old system. 🙁
