Hard Drives

Just need to know if ATA 100 drives only work ATA 100 motherboards or do they also work with
ATA 66 motherboards. Thanks for the help.
 
I use switching software for my IBM ATA100 to change between ATA33, 66, or 100. I downloaded from IBM's site.
