Hard Drives?

Ok, so I want a hd, like right now... all these are at the same price range within 5 dollars of each other at ~120CDN so which one should i get

Western Digital WD2500KS SATA 3.0 7200RPM 250GB $120

Maxtor DiamondMax 10 SATA ?? 7200RPM 250GB $115

Seagate Barracuda ST-3250812AS SATA 3.0 7200RPM 250GB $115

im purchasing from a store where I am friends with the owner, so please dont suggest random hard drives as they are usually hard to attain, im not gonna buy online etc etc

So out of the three shown please give me your best pick, thanks!

BTW Im probably gonna get it for those prices including tax

they're all pretty much the same with seagate usually being the quietest. get whatever has the longest warranty.

OEM .. i think im gonna get the WD just because ive used them the most... seagate also isnt 16mb cache i think

I agree... I've had great luck with WD.

I dont know if seagate is still in the process of buying maxtor.. i rather stick with seagate anyway.. easier with warranty

ok went and got the WD sata II, its being run in legacy mode (1.5) to work on my motherboard

windows cd doesnt recognize it... any help? not sure what to do in bios.. Sata Boot ROM??

i got bios to recognize it

oh got it for 116 after tax

You might need a drivers CD which would have come with your motherboard, press F6 at the beginning part of setup where it says press F6 to install RAID Drivers, and it'll need the drivers off the CD/Floppy.
