I'm looking for 160GB HDD for my Asus A8N-E motherboard. What's the differenece between Seagate normal SATA and SATA with NCQ..?? Is NCQ drive more expensive than normal SATA..?? And also tell me about SATA-II........are these drives available?? Any performance gain.....what's the cost compared to SATA-I...??
 
SATA-II has been reviewed and explained on the front page of AT.

BTW I don't think you are noticing a performance gain from IDE to SATA... so I doubt you will from migrating across the SATA lineup.
