i have an xp2600+, 1GB ram, on a A7N8X-E deluxe, and a 120GB WD 8mb cache hard drive, in SiSoftware Sandra 2004 the hard drive is only getting 11,000 it should be A LOT higher, is there any way to upgrade drivers or something to get the performance i should be getting, (it is really slowing down my computer). any help would be greatly apriciated,
thanks

P.S. i have 57.7gb free, and i just did a defrag 1hr ago. running win xp NTFS file system.

Damn that is pitiful marks although I don't trust SiSoft. Check and see if there are newer/better drivers from Nvidia/ASUS and you might try a new cable and or switching ports. Make sure the WD HD jumper is removed if it is a stand alone Master drive
