Hard drive troubles - do I need Ghost?

I have two projects I am getting ready to undertake. First, I have a desktop with a hard drive that sounds like it is going to bust out of the box and take a bite out of me for about the first 2 minutes when it boots up. I fear it is on its last leg. I want to replace the hard drive.

Project 2 is upgrading our server. We currently have a 9 GB hard drive with 2 partitions one FAT32 and one NTFS. We are running out of room and I want to switch to 2 either 18 or 36 GB drives with two partitions and use RAID 1.

I have read most of the posts on Ghost and that appears to be a program that will save me a lot of time. Is that what I need? Is that the best and/or easiest product out there? Anybody have any pointers?

Thanks!

norton ghost or powerquest drive image pro will allow you to clone a drive. i have ghost and i really havent used it all that much but it should be pretty much self explanatory.
