I have a bunch of files for my classes this week and they are all on my Western Digital 80 gig hard drive that decided to give me probelms today. Before the hard drive died i wanted to add another 20 gig HD format it and save my files.
Well wouldnt you know it after i deleted this stupid 8 meg fat 32 partition, my NTFS partitioned 80 gig hard drive doesnt load into windows. I dont know what the 8 megs went to now. So i used another hard drive as the master and set th 80 gig to slave. It recognizes the 80 gig drive but keeps prompting me to format it. I want to just get the files i need for my classes onto another HD before i fail them. please help.
