Hard Drive Replacement on a T20 IBM ThinkPad

Regs

1. I don't see a hard drive panel visable for the T20.

2. If I can't replace it, I want to format it. However my next hurdle is complicated. It has no CD-ROM.
I'm also afraid that these Hard Drives are locked. Haven't even gotten to that point yet, and I know it might require me to do a low level format.

So where's the hard drive or how do I reformat this thing without a CD-ROM? I could use my cross over cable and somehow use a network bootable diskette that would be great. Only that I never made a bootable diskette of any kind and never had too until now. So making one with networking only confuses me more.

On my x31 you can boot easily off a USB CD-Rom, in fact if you call IBM (I hope it's still under warranty - usually 3 years for IBM) they will send you a new drive and a set of image disks and everything. I don't know if this applies to you or to T20 as opposed to my newer X31.

Well do. Thanks! And I found out where the hard drive was. So that solves on peice of the puzzle.
