Hard drive question

Hi, I installed a second hhdrive on my brothers pc. We deleted iTunes from his C drive. Then I installed iTunes on the new drive. Now he says when he downloads music the music is not only installed on the new drive but his C drive also (and iTunes shows up on the C drive again). When the bios run, the C drive is the master and the new drive is the slave. Btw these are IDE drives. Did I forget to do something when I installed the new hhd? Help please.

iTunes is an evil peice of software that will do whatever it wants until it is satisfied.

Run itunes and look for the setting that controls where your music is stored. You should be able to route all your new music to the new drive.

Since you are able to access the drive, you installed it properly. This an application issue, not a hardware issue.
