Hard Drive Question

I presently have a Intel 3.0C processor with an Asus P4C800-E Deluxe motherboard and 1 GB of Corsair XMS 3200 Ram. I have a Western Digital 120 GB EIDE hard drive connected as my master, which has Windows XP on that. I also have a 60 GB Western Digital EIDE slave which I use for my music and pictures.

I need a larger slave HD for this system to replace the 60GB drive. I was going to get another WD 120 GB EIDE but this motherboard will support a Serial ATA drive. Can I use both drives at the same time? the EIDE as my master and the Serial ATA as my slave. Would I gain anything by doing this or just stick with the 120 GB EDIE?
Obviously knowing what I know today I would have purchased the Serial ATA to begin with and be using that as my master for the operating system, but at this time I am not willing to dump everything and start over again.

Thanks David

depending on the speed of the 60gig, why not put your OS on that and use the larger for you slave?

I would partition a drive so large (120) for OS and Data seperate.

I am using a S-ATA drive as primary and en EIDE drive as secondary. They work fine together. There is a negligable difference in speed with the S-ATA drive, in my opinion ... nothing worth getting excited about.
