hard drive question, might be stupid

i have a WD ultra ata controller card in my comp and i have to use it because i have a 160 gig hard drive, right now i got a 160 gig and 60 gig hard drive connected to the controller card... can i also hook up hard drives to my motherboards ide ports as well as to the controller card at the same time?? like 2 hooked up to ide on motherboard and 2 hooked up to controller card? will all 4 hard drives be recognized?

yeah, all 4 should be recognized assuming your PSU can handle more drives. Make sure you get yer master/slave settings right.. and next time use the correct forum 😀
