hard drive problem [pleaase help]

I have a 250 gig hard drive and i formatted it in partition magic and now it says its 1008 gigs lol... i erased and formatted a few times.. i even made a 200 gig partition.. it says 800 gigs left

why?

how do i fix it?

Delete the partitioning right now and then do the partitioning in Win XP. Either with an XP installation CD or as a slave to a system with XP already installed.

nvm i got it... i think my usb to ide converter was messing with it so i unplugged it and it was fine
