Hard Drive Misread

Hey ill try to explain it so you wont get confused. In my computer i'm running an 80 gig and a 120 gig everything was fine...so my computer in my basement screwed up so i brought the 20 gig up from the basement to the upstairs comp and took out my 80 and put in the 20....so the 20 was giving me problems, i couldnt create an image, the reading time was slow, so i took it out and put the 80 back in. When i booted up my computer and went into "my computer" it read it as the 20 and when i try to open it it tells me to format it...basically i dont know whats going on, AIDA32 reads it as my 80 and the device manager has the 80 gig name right but it doesnt read it, hope that wasnt too confusing, thanks all
