Hard drive Issue

Ok heres my current problem i'm dealing with.

Here goes okay i just updated my main OS boot drive to a 320gb western Digital SATA drive, Before it was a 160 IDE Seagate drive and my Data Drive was also a IDE 500gb WD drive. So i installed my new drive and did a fresh install of Windows 7 32bit the install was prefect and it boots just fine but my Damn Data is not showing up in windows. It shows up during the boot process as a Master

It even shows up under device manager but windows will not display the drive.

I've tried multiple jumper settings and i've even tried setting it as a Slave no go, and i've tried no jumper and setting the SATA as Master.

I have a Gigabyte p35 DS3L with 2 Sata devices (boot drive and DVD drive)

before i did a fresh install i save almost all of my files to my Data drive. Before i fresh install i was running RC windows with my main drive being IDE and i never had a problem.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I figured this was probably a better place to post this. So if possible can a mod delete the other thread in General Hardware. Thanks.

If the 500Gb is showing up on disk management, does it have a drive letter assigned?

If not, right click on that drives partition and assign a drive letter.

Yeah it drove me crazy so i stayed up late and finally eventually manage to find the Disk Management and assign the damn thing a driver letter. My memory must be going because i swore i had to do the exact same thing when i first bought the drive but of course that was on XP maybe it was easier to find.

Thanks all
