Hard Drive is not showing up

I recently reformatted an old computer that had 2 hard drives. 1 Master and 1 Slave drive. I was in a rush and I didn't delete and reformat the slave drive. Now it isn't showing up in disk management or anywhere else. It does show up during the boot up screen and is present in bios. What would be the easiest way to access the drive and reformat it?
 
Get the disk tools from the manufacturer's web site and format the slave drive. Did you check device manager to see the drive is there?
