Hard drive is not showing up

I accidently uninstalled WD Ez bios from my hard drive, now I can't load windows because it says OS error. Then I put a new 80gig hard drive, and connected 30gig as a slave, and its not showing up in my computer, but I still can find it in Device Manager, so its connected properly. I really would like to save the data, but it seems like only way to install this hard drive and make windows recognize it is by using WD installation disk that would format everything. I also tried to copy everything from this 30gig hard drive to another with WD utility, and it doesn't let me do it because this 30gig hard drive is not NTFS or FAT32 partition, which is strange.

Open Control Panel->Admin Toools->Computer Management->Disk Management. What does it show? You may only need to assign the drive a different letter.

It wasn't initialized, I initilized it, now its online, but it's unallocated. Should I create new partition?

I created new partition, assigned a drive letter, but now I can't access the drive. I have a messege Disk is not formated, do you want to format it now? I wouldn't want to format it now

Having created a new partition you will have a very difficult time recoverying anything from that drive. You can try searching the forums on recovery but unfortunately your data may be lost.
