rookie question but if my WD caviar 80gig HDD says sata 300 and my motherboard says it supports up to sata150, will this cause issues or will my HDD just run at sata 150?
I have heard that with certain mobos it can cause problems. But it most situations the HD should slow itself to SATA150 (as if you would ever reach speeds where SATA II comes in).
