I have a 2 year old 120 Gig hard drive that died on me a week or so ago and I was wondering if there is any way to save ad least some of the data that?s still on it?
I have a LOT of MP3s and other files and I'd rather not track down all of it agen..
It depends on what you mean by "died". If it still spins up, you might be able to salvage some data. If it won't spin up (i.e. WD "click of death"), the only resort would be a commercial data recovery service.
