hard drive freezes from time to time HELP??

My western digital WD4000KS Sata 3gb/s keeps on freezing the computer and it requires manual restart everytime, when I restart the computer can no longer detect hard drive, so I remove/reinsert the SATA plug and then it detects with all the data. Any solutions on freezing problem?

Try different psu or unload existing and see if the problem persists.
