I have a new color laser printer ( Minolta QMS 3100) and of course the fonts I have used to design a catalog for the last 3 months are not included in the ram. QMS suggested I get a $400 hard drive from them. The specs are it is a laptop 44 pin (power and data in same cable) that is at least 2.2 gig. There are 200+ fonts on the printers ram but I would like to add the ones I have designed for. Anyone know if any 44 pin hard drive will work (fitting inside the spacious area where the removable circuit board will not be a problem). Does anyone have an old one cheap. I also need the 44 pin ide/power cable that I have not been able to find. By the way the printer is great but it did not come with a manual only a maze of documents on 2 cd's. Tech support sucks.
