Hard drive for FTP usage

The way I read it was that he was going to be backing up into another directory on the RAID 0 array, thinking that would offer redundancy. Which wouldn't work so well.
 
Ok, to make things clear. Let's say I'm going to set the drives up in raid0. The few important files will be put into a folder on the raid0. I want, some sort of application to mirror this folder to another folder on another harddrive. So it's something like raid1 but with folders instead. Is there an application for this that will update the backup folder whenever something changes in the folder on the raid0?
 
Are you going to RAID0 it for a performance increase in the FTP? If that's what you're planning, don't. It's not worth the cost.
 
well, that and other things.
Cost of what? I have decided to buy two drives instead of one larger because of the cost. So no extra cost, unless I go with SATA but maaaybe I can pay a little extra for the new interface + the looks in the computer. Some day, I might buy another computer which will use SATA so...
