okay, i don't know what in the <crap> is going on here, but i've got a 60gig maxtor drive i'm using as a data drive...you know, mp3s, the etc. the problem is, is that the event log gets filled up with these errors every time i boot. i've tried repartitioning and reformatting to no avail. additionally, in linux when i try to mount the drive, it refuses, insisting i specify the format, so i do (-t ntfs) and it complains something about a bad superblock.
is there anything i can do to fix this drive?
p.s. not that it matters, but linux is installed on its own 40gig, whereas windows is on my 120gig SATA drive
