Hard Drive Error

This drive's boot area contains important information that is damaged or invalid. This can cause Windows to report the drive's free space incorrectly or slowly.
ScanDisk repairs the boot area by recording the correct values in this area. I have 3 new drives 1 SCSI and 2 Maxtor IDE drives and I keep getting this error
when I check them for errors. Any idea on what is causing this? Thanks.
