Hard Drive Config

I few months ago I purchased a 150gb Raptor because my old 74gb Raptor was too small for my comp. Now I have my 150gb Raptor as my OS drive but I'm not using my 74gb. Would I see any noticible performance increase by putting the 74gb back in and using it to install my applications (games) on and leaving the 150gb drive just for the OS? Is it worth doing?

Thanks!

Either way is about the same. You might gain some benefit putting your Paging File on the 74 gigger though.

I'd use the 74gb raptor for swap and a few game installs. Why not? You probably wont' see a tremendous speed boost by doing it and installing something on it instead of your 150gb raptor, but might as well use the drive, right?

Your 74GB Raptor will be far more valuable to you, either...
1. Selling it to someone building on a budget.
2. Keeping it around for a lower end build of your own.

Using it for a monster swap disk only makes sense if you're editing video and can use a 2nd drive for a scratch disk
