Hard Drive Blues....Please help me out here

I would very much appreciate anyone who can help me out here.
Problem: XP was very corrupted and would not boot so I went to reinstall XP on the same partition (C🙂 of my 75 GB hard drive. During the install I noticed that what used to be "D:" now said "Unpartitioned" and what used to be "E:" was now "D:". I had many important files on what used to be "D:". I have XP up and running, I need help with what programs, utilities, etc. that will help me get those files. Please email me at chrisojeda@Yahoo.com or post comments here.
