Just finished up my new rig and ran some hard drive benchmarks with hard drive tach.Seems like the average read is right on par but the burst speed is very high ,im not complaining but what are you guys getting with two drives in raid 0 my specs are
P5Wdh Asus Motherboard
Areca 1210 Drive controller "Love this thing"kills any intergrated solution i think"
2x150 raptors in raid 0

LOL. Nice picture......love those HD's. Wish I could afford them or I would snatch them up in a second.

Not sure how you can burst over 600megabytes/s. Raptors are SATA-I aren't they? That means 1.5gbit/s max throughput which is ~187.5mb/s. Even if they are SATA-II (3.0gbit/s) it is still 375megabytes/s max.

would never run raid 0 unless i had a daily or at least weekly backup plan to image the array to another hdd
