im getting alot of hard drive activity right now is there a way i can tell whats going on. im not uploading or downloading anything and there is nothing abnormal in the task manager
 
Also if you have a virus utility running or some other utility (Norton?).

Check your processes or applications .

If you have multiple users, others may still be logged on...will show up in services.

A few thing to look at.
