The one I had tasted kinda carbonated. Are they all like that? I'd really only like sweet ones, not dry.
Perhaps so, but that wouldn't emulate the taste of a good hard cider. 🙂It's true! The two go together quite well.
You realize that true hard cider is just cider that has been allowed to ferment some; then they kill the process by pasteurizing and bottling it.
get a Gallon of generic cider and leave the top off for a few days until is starts to turn.
then enjoy.
I used to bootleg cider to school and sell it to the dorms. Originally I would have 4 gallons a week that has just turning hard. At 100% profit, it was cheaper than beer and also legal.
At 50% profit; they could harden their own.
advantages of being a commuter and a farm boy.
Shock Top has a new Honeycrisp Apple ale, I haven't tried it but was told it tastes like cider.
