Laxatives are your only hope right now. Go ask your pharmacist what they recommend.

Take this seriously though - if you are constipated for a few days, you could get what is called an obstructed bowel, which is very serious. Dont feel too embarrassed to ask for help - this is potentially serious if you dont sort it out soon.

Sort your diet out to prevent this from happening again, take fibre supplements if you need to.

A glycerine suppository would soften it up and make it easier to pass. My son had this problem when he was young (5 or 6 years old). That's how my wife and I got him through it.

if constipation is a frequent problem you should look at your diet, read up on the internet and change it accordingly.
Apart for the immediate problem I heard it can cause colon cancer but apparently a new study came up saying it ain't true.

dude just go get some laxative. you can get the stuff from any pharmacy over the counter. it will turn your logs into goo.

and change your diet so this doesnt happen again. if you let it go too far, the doctors will literally shove tools up your butt and dig the crap out.

The #1 primary cause of constipation is lack of water in your diet. Fiber is a distant second.

Drink lots and lots of water. Water log yourself all day. Also eat lots of veggies. That'll own any constipation in few days.

thnx... I have change my diet for sure...
I would have suggested magnesium citrate. its at any CVS/Walgreens/Grocery Store in by the pepto and all. You drink 1 bottle of it, its like a fizzy/flat faygo taste...but it will get EVERYTHING out of you. Anytime im backed up i get one of those...just make sure you're near a safe zone for a few hours.

Constipation is really a serious problem. It could disturb you with your daily activities. Laxatives are really good solution for your problem. Also you have to take in a more fluids. A diet rich in fiber and pineapple juice could help you to have loose stools. So grab a can or two of pineapple juice everyday.

I have the exact issue as the OP. I read that warm fluid first thing in the morning also helps. I am under huge stress lately and am very depressed and have read these can also be contributing to my problems. I have been using fleet enemas every 3 days or so until I can get to my primary DR.
I have also read thoroughly chewing you food and drinking fluids 1 hour before or after meals can help to prevent getting "backed up".
Thanks to all who have contributed to this thread! Gotta "go" now (I hope)
