Er, how did you come to the conclusion that MotionMan was dismissing the Giants?

;)

I get that - both games could go either way.

I will not be surprised by any result on Sunday. Obviously, however, I want the 49ers to win.

The Patriots put Denver down like an unwanted dog... woof. I'm thinking they'll do the same to the Ravens this weekend.

Are you kidding? Ravens have a pretty good D and they always give Brady trouble, although the stars of the D are aging and Ed Reed may play hurt....

Denver fans are happy with their season. Glad to get rid of Orton, win some games, win the division, and make the playoffs for the first time in a long time. A lot more than we could have ever hoped for.

But then again, we aren't jaded cry babies like Pats fans who seem to think that anything less than the SB every single year Brady plays is insufficient. Heres hoping they fail again this year, although nothing will be more satisfying than the "perfect season" that ended in a loss.

Should we apologize because we got lucky and a 5th rounder turned into an elite QB?, didn't Denver fans expect the same from Elway??

I thought you were calling Tebow elite.

No, well see LOL. The option QB is a dead end even if it's successful in the short term your still exposing the QB to massive hits throughout the season and the your 2nd and 3rd stringers have to be option QB's as well plus you could see teams adjust to it near the end of the year..

Which is really just dumb to say

Why dumb? The Ravens don't have a good enough offense, and therefore, have no chance. And the Giants have shown they can go on the road and win in the playoffs, going up against a team that had to give all it had to win in the last few seconds last week, ripe for a letdown.

Saying the Ravens have no chance is completely ridiculous and you know it. We beat NE on their own own field in the playoffs once. We can do it again.

the only matchup I don't want to see is Pats v Giants

might as well be a regional game.

What you don't understand is, the entire season, everyone has been saying that about the 49ers.

It's OK, I do faithfully believe that they 49ers will give their all again, next weekend.

I think the only threat the giants have is a passing game. The run game will be shut down by the niners defense as every other team learned they cant run on the 49ers. The Saints proved you can pass on them.

Its gonna be a game of luck and turnovers.

So then it's whether mini-Peyton Eli shows up, or the far more common regular Eli shows up.

As usual, it'll come down to the 49ers pass protection to give Alex Smith enough time to pass the ball farther down the field to keep defenders from cheating up on the run. Giants will get their points through the air, struggle on the ground, and probably lose the turnover battle.

Last time, Giants stuffed the box and dare Smith to beat them through the air, he sort of did. This time, I suspect the Giants will be more careful with Smith over the air, as it proved that he could beat the Saints over the air, thus opening up the running lanes for Gore and Co.

Not only that, I think they will double up on Vernon, and won't be able to use safety blitz often.

I expect a very exciting game coming up, with Niners coming out on top.

Well, they were the only great teams int eh AFC this year. Followed by Houston. AFC championship is completely unshocking.

Problem with Baltimore is they may be too injured to stop Tom Gronkowski.

As it turns out, Hernandez, Branch, Welker can catch balls thrown to them too. I just don't think the crows have enough personnel to cover all those talents. 2 years ago, was a different story. It's OK though, every dog has its day, 1 in 10. Won't happen again this time though.

The Ravens have a shot but they'll have to do better than the team that showed up on Sunday and was barely good enough to beat the Texans. They've been able to step it up this year when they really needed to but everyone in Baltimore knows that they're the underdogs vs. the Pats.

Brady releases the ball so fast it's like a snake strike, making any type of blitz or pass rush mostly a non issue. If he has a man open, look out.The Pats could have put up 60 on the broncos.Brady even punted on third down!

I really wanted another Brady-Gronk TD, but damn that was hilarious, and more so when Von Miller displayed how much of a little bitch he is.
