This is a happy Yule to all those that:

• Give Yule-presents
• Hang up Yule-decorations
• Put in a Yule-tree in their house
• Follow the tradition of Odin by giving presents in a red cape
• Bakes Yule-cakes and Yule-cookies/candy
• Display a Yule-goat
• Hang round objects on a Yule-tree resembling apples.
• Gathers with families and friends to celebrate that the days are now getting longer.

I'd say it's making a comeback, or at least equalizing with the thieves position. Now the fight is Christian, pagan, or consumer. I think the consumers are in the lead ;^)

If you look at it...the pagan customs still flourish, even if attempted lied into something their are not ("jebus"-party)...so I'd say they have won the battle...()🙂
