Having said that, intentions DO matter and I feel a lot more sympathy for the kid behind the counter then I do for the angry/belligerent blonde freaking out over a perceived verbal slight. (I would have come right over the counter personally!)

What @SKORPI0 is, is immature and thoughtless.... not mean.

To elaborate further (and I'm fairly confident you know this about me!) BEFORE I "came over the counter" I would have sincerely apologized for the pronoun slip-up and there's a good chance the incident would have ended with laughs and handshakes instead of hurt feelings making the world just a little bit worse.

Oh wow, I hadn't realized that it was today, I guess it has been a whole year since the last thread by @nakedfrog ...I guess time flies!

If yall don't mind, I have a few questions. First, about terms/words. My understanding is that there are older terms that are considered impolite or even slurs. But what about ladyboy? I assume that is ok? My understanding is that it is more of a SouthEast Asian term, like in Thailand. But I am not certain.

Also, is trans-sexual, ts, or tgirl ok? I have also heard trap, what about that?

Just FYI, not looking to be rude or say anything offensive, but I am just curious and asking questions.

My apologies, I meant to point out how a person (the salesman) would be unaware that a male looking/clothed person transgender was in front of him.
That viral video points it out, as appearances can be deceiving these days. I've worked around people, not knowing that they were (LGBTQIA+). Didn't really care, if/when they performed their job as required.

While I've personally seen several trans-women where you genuinely could NOT tell they were at one point "male" without some uncomfortably close "personal inspection" involved, this was not one of those times.

Pretty sure the clerk could tell EASILY in this case... MOST "biological" women don't have "linebacker" shoulders, an "Adams-Apple" or "man-hands" ... the things surgery currently can't do much with. (If you had made the case the kid was just "flustered" I might have bought it)
